Karim N. Noujaim
Partner

Prior to founding SkyKapital Europe, Karim had nearly 25 years of experience in investment banking. He worked at BNP Paribas in Paris and JP Morgan in London within their Investment Banking teams where he covered the Middle East and Africa. He also worked in the Debt Capital Markets team at Paribas.

Karim has been involved in major deals such as the privatization of Turk Telekom ($ 6.55 billion, advising the Turkish government), Tesla’s last pre-IPO funding round (advising a family group in the Middle East) and advising Saudi Airlines for its restructuring. He also participated in the restructuring of the electricity sector within the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Karim holds a Masters in Finance from ESCP and a BA from St Joseph University in Beirut, Lebanon.

He is of French and Lebanese nationality and is fluent in English, French and Arabic.

Franck Bleines
Partner

Frank has over 30 years of experience as a consultant in North American, European and African companies. He notably advised Gaz de Bordeaux, Gaz de Strasbourg, real estate investors in the United States, restructuring in Africa and Central Europe. In 2005, Frank was European Director of Power & Utilities at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Banking where he advised Gaz de France for its privatization, Veolia for its reorganization at Vivendi, Hydro-Quebec for a global alliance with a European energy company and good number of transnational transactions. Previously, he worked for BNP Paribas in the Corporate Finance department where he notably advised the government of Senegal on the privatization strategy of Senelec (national electricity company) and participated in mandates for airlines, oil companies and privatizations in emerging countries.

Frank has also worked for Mazars USA, Deloitte and Egis Project Management. In addition, Frank advises various CEOs and executives on their communication strategies, particularly in public communications and messaging.

Frank holds a Masters in Management from ESSEC and a Masters in Finance from Panthéon-Sorbonne University.

Karim Ezzeddine
Senior Analyst

Karim joined SkyKapital in 2020 as an analyst.

Prior to joining SkyKapital, Karim acquired professional experience in the Private Equity sector at Amethis, a Paris-based investment fund manager dedicated to the African continent.

Karim holds a bachelor’s degree (specialization in finance) from ESSEC and the “Ecole Supérieur des Affaires de Beyrouth” in Beirut, Lebanon, as well as a master’s degree in Corporate Finance & Banking from EDHEC.

A Lebanese and Ivorian national, he is fluent in English, French, and Arabic.

Karim Ezzeddine
Analyst

Carlos is an engineer holder of +5 years of experience in Sustainable Development and International Cooperation across 15 countries in the Middle East, Africa, Americas and Europe. He specializes in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), ESHS Management and strategy development. His expertise spans Infrastructure, Renewable Energies, Waste Management, Circular Economy, Industry and Nature-Based Solutions. With experience with IFIs such as World Bank, IFC, UKEF, and UNDP, he has extensive knowledge of IFC Performance Standards, World Bank EHS guidelines, and Equator Principles.

As Business Development Manager in EcoConServ Environmental Solutions in the Middle East, he expanded the firm’s operations, formed global partnerships, and brought projects from organizations like the World Bank, UN Agencies, AfDB, and EBRD worldwide. He achieved 141% increase in annual turnover.

Additionally, Carlos worked as consultant in numerous sustainability projects: Develop the Environmental Policy of the UNRWA with UNDP, PROBLUE Egypt World Bank Project, Togo Road Project, Tanzania Renewable Energy Center World Bank Project, REFAATO World Bank Project in Iraq, ESG Strategy for Fashion Company in Germany, among others.

He can work professionally in both English and Spanish.
